Horsemanship Award
Rising Star Performance Horses' owner Brandy Newton, proposed the idea of a yearly
"Rising Star Horsemanship Award" to our club and other Barrel Racing clubs in WA.
We were thrilled with the idea and collaborated with Brandy to implement the award at our events.

Stacey Lambert
Stacey Lambert is a well-known figure in the Barrel Racing Arena, admired by many for her horsemanship skills and humble personality.
She recently received this award for her exceptional display of horsemanship and sportsmanship during the 2024 WA ABHA State Championships.
Stacey believes that true champions are motivated by more than just winning and that success is a journey, not just a destination.
Many awards earned!
Stacey's participation in the Open Division with her horse Dakota Boy Name Sioux "Arrow" which proved to be financially rewarding, with a 4th place in the Open 1D.

Stacey also went into the 2024 WA ABHA State Championships sitting at number 3 in the average amongst our open competitors.
