2024 WA ABHA State Championships
To qualify for the 2024 WA ABHA State Championships competitors were required to have participated in at least one division at the 2023 3-day series at Diamonds 2 Dust and in at least one division at the 2024 3-day series at Denim and Lace.

The Horse of the Year for the 2024 WA ABHA State Championships competed in the Open, Maturity, and Junior divisions and recorded the fastest times in all 3 of these events, out of all six qualifier days.

GEORGE
George is an absolutely incredible equine athlete!
With three top times at two separate series from two separate clubs, his impressive speed is sure to leave you in awe.
George is by the well-known Spin on Command and is owned by the one and only Shelby Bowtell, a true superstar in the Barrel Racing community who competed on George in the Open and Maturity qualifying rounds.
Shelby also loaned George to a junior to compete on, who also achieved the fastest junior time out of all six qualifier rounds!

Achievements
Not only did George run the fastest qualifying times in the Open, Maturity and Junior events, but he also won the Maturity division at the 2024 WA ABHA State Championships, winning Shelby a brand new Seven Saddle Barrel Racing Saddle and a shiny new Molly's Custom Silver Buckle!

D2D 2023 series 1D Open Champion
D2D 2023 series Maturity Champion
He has also placed in many 1D & Open Barrel Races
